Massachusetts Gambling Tax Revenue by Month
Massachusetts collected $38.7M in gambling taxes in August 2026, down 6% from Aug 2025. Over the 12 months through Aug 2026, tax collections totaled $515M. That is the 11th largest total of the 33 states with monthly tax figures in the atlas.
The total covers casinos, daily fantasy sports, online sportsbooks and retail sportsbooks, as reported each month from Sep 2022. Months after one product's latest report are left off so a reporting lag doesn't read as a drop.
Reports spanning calendar months are allocated evenly across their days; monthly values are estimates. Months without complete reporting coverage are omitted.
