The American Gambling Markets Atlas is a sourced reference on U.S. gambling law and markets: the legal status of each form of gambling in every state and DC, tax rates, rules, licenses, legislation, litigation and regulator-reported revenue.

Who publishes it

The Atlas is published by CASPR. Every fact links to the statute, regulation, regulator report, court filing or other source it comes from. Data and methodology explains how the data is collected, checked and updated.

Corrections and contact

If something is wrong, out of date or missing a source, email [email protected]. Include the page address and, if you have one, a link to the source that shows the correct information. Corrections are checked against primary sources before they are published.

Reusing the data

The data is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You can copy, adapt and republish it, including commercially, if you credit the American Gambling Markets Atlas and link to the page or download you used. Downloads are on the data page.
